Dog Days @ Aquia Harbour 14-15 August 2015

Aquia Harbour Yacht Club hosted the event which is supported by the PRYCA. Two boats made it up river representing the WYA; Prime Time and Sea Cabin. Attendees from the WYA were Bill & Donna Bukevicz, Phil and Patty Rogers and Bob and Norma Blunt who drove up by car on Saturday. In addition, we had Erica Bukevicz and Patrick Flynn (new members), Commodore Bill's niece Brooke Hertzler and Mark Garrett with Joe and Robin Bycina who are potential new members. Prime Time and Sea Cabin pulled into AHYC on Friday afternoon. The cruise up the creek was a tranquil run and it felt like you were running a portion of the Amazon delta. Friday evening, the AHYC hosted a welcoming happy hour and on Saturday, the WYA Corn hole team took first place in the tournament. We enjoyed a crab and shrimp dinner and finished up with a 70’s theme dance. It was a perfect weekend with warm weather and the river was flat as a pancake. We have to get Dan (our in house Construction guy) to make us a set of corn hole boards with the WYA logo.
