2013 July 19-21 PRYCA Float In Party at Coles Point This was a very hot, I mean hot Float In, but we had a ball. WYA came in 3rd place for the cup competition of 7 teams. The attendees included Phil and Carey, Ralph Mason and Kris Butera, Les and Hope Jackson, Dick and Anita Elmore, Phil and Patti Rogers, Bill and Donna Bukevicz, Gary and Nancy Vineyard, Steve and Mary Ann Andrews, Dan and Elaine Braud, Bob and Norma Blunt, Ruth Lovelace and Jean Yeagley, Diane Burton and Peggy Saylor, and Tom and Kathy Carroll. Below are some pictures of the event. I'll never be happy with pictures because mine don't cover every thing that happened. Tom Carroll is helping out and therefore we're getting a bit better, but we did fail to get pictures of the ring toss competition and I'm sorry about that. But please enjoy the pictures that are here. The event included a Friday night dinner buffet, Saturday morning continental breakfast, Cup Competition activities Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening buffet, dancing to an Elvis Impersonator Band, and a Sunday morning buffet breakfast. Well planned ... just a bit hot. |

Apolonia dresses out in the large WYA burgee and our fancy WYA sign. At far right the check in table is manned by our own Phil Rogers and others from PRYCA.
Here are some covered slips at Coles Point and the group of people, including our own Norma Blunt, that put to memory the Gilligan's Island theme song and sang it for points in the competition.
Many people around the pool watching the cup competition.
Bill and Jean in Kayak and more spectators.
And more spectators. | |||
We're watching Bill and Jean do the life vest competition. They won 2nd place in the event, only seconds away from 1st place.
And here is more of their winning performance.
A few of us grabbed some food before the competition, just after completing the scavenger hunt. Our team for the Scavenger is shown at far right, winning 3rd place in this event. Smoothly herding our group thru were Hope Jackson and Donna Bukevicz.
And the second kayak team was Steve and Mary Ann Andrews, a winning team with Bill and Jean. |

Here is one of our boats with its burgee proudly flying. This is Rhapsody owned by Steve and Mary Ann. Next you see a picture of the Coles Point Restaurant by Apolonia's bow. |

Here are Gary and Nancy and Ralph and Kris enjoying a good band with an Elvis impersonator leading the group on Saturday evening. Fun, Fun, Fun. Phil is carrying the umbrella to keep the sun off his lovely wife Patti.
Mt Vernon YC won the cup and they are celebrating. Our "ELVIS" dances with Kris.
He also sits next to Hope for a while. Our table stayed full with our group. And pictures we don't have is Elvis flirting with Nancy Vineyard.
Sunday morning we participated in two ceremonies where Dick and Anita renamed their new 43 foot Marine Trading Trader Moon Dance and Les and Hope Jackson renamed their new boat Hope II.
