4th of July Party

40 of our crew and guests assembled to say Happy Birthday America!.  We partied at Bayside Marina with good food, great drinks, and camaraderie with members, guests and friends.  Thanks to Carey we had appetizers to eat before we grilled our meat of choice and cooked the veggie kabobs provided by the club.  Carey did cheat a bit with Mrs. Smith's pies, but the brownies were hers.  All had a great time and a beautiful view of the fireworks from Bayside Marina.  Thanks to Bob, Norma and Eddy and Kay  for providing a super venue for the party.

 
 

Tables were festive and loaded with kabob fixings and the beverage bar offered up wine, margaritas and whiskey sours, with beer and other beverages on ice nearby.

 
   Under umbrellas and in the sun the crew took it easy and later moved to the Captain's Lounge to get a little respite from the hot sun during dinner.  
     
   The marina offers up fantastic views of  Monroe Bay and its wonderful sunsets.    
  After dinner, we lined up on the docks to watch the fireworks....away from the maddening crowd.  As usual, my cheap camera doesn't do justice to those night time views. .
